时间:2019年12月24日14:00—15:00地点:理学院206题目:Network Dynamical Systems and their Applications摘要:In this talk, we give an introduction to network dynamical systems.In particular, we focus on monotone dynamical systems and a new framework of decomposing networks called D-chain decompositions. We discover that the maximal D-chains can be computed based on searching certain stable states of some monotone dynamcal systems on the networks in question. As an application, we study the problems of identifying nodes of similar spreading power and predicting good spreaders in the SIR process.报告人简介:陈小锋,博士毕业于美国弗吉尼亚理工大学。目前就职于美国弗吉尼亚大学。之前从南开大学组合数学中心研究生毕业后,在华为担任无线研究工程师5年有余。期间著有畅销技术书《通信新读——从原理到应用》,是4G移动通信系统LTE里控制信道编码--双RM码--主要发明人。研究领域包括:代数与计数组合,网络动力系统,及在生物数学与复杂网络,信息论与无线通信的应用。至今,在本领域国际核心期刊,包括《SIAM Journal on Discrete Mathematics》,《SIAM Journal on Applied Dynamical Systems》,《Linear Algebra and its Applications》,《Electronic Journal of Combinatorics》等等,发表论文10余篇;有美国授权专利10余篇,欧洲授权专利10篇左右,中国授权专利20篇左右。
